Mirage is a short film we did in our first year at DSK Supinfocom. Yes! Game Designers can make films too. It falls in the category of thriller and suspense. Mirage is a 32 minutes long movie and will keep you quite entertained and anxious at the same time.
I have contributed to this project in following ways:

1. Casting
2. Actor (Doppelganger)
3. Sound Designer
4. Location Manager

Mirage is pure entertainment. Do watch it!

Astaroth Chronicles

Astaroth Chronicles is a RPG which i have worked on with a team of 5. Astaroth Chronicles revolves around the scenario of medieval times, where the player plays the role of Seth. Seth's kingdom was attacked by viscous monsters and he was taken as a hostage. He was taken far far away from his homeland and thrown into the caves where it was close to impossible to find him. He wakes up in a pitch dark cave, and has to find his way back to the kingdom and save it. On his way back home, he comes across obstacles and encounters enemies.

Seth's quest is to survive and save his kingdom from being taken over by the monster race.

Below are a few snapshots of our game:

Modular Level Design in UDK

Modular Level Design - In UDK

During a modular level design workshop in UDK, we were asked to create levels for a reverse tower attack game. In this game, the player had to spawn units such as scouts, enforcers and tanks. Using these units the player had to attack Towers, capture nodes and unlock doors using triggers to make advance through the level.
We were given level elements to use such as towers, paths, capturable nodes, key triggers, portals, etc. Using these elements we had to create 4 tutorial levels and 8 in game levels. The tutorials cover up all the game features so that the player is well aware before playing the in game levels.

Below are a few snapshots of levels i designed :-

Some elements such as the buildings and walls were just used to enhance cosmetics of the level. Some problems i faced were that too many elements would make the levels crash during play test, So i decided to keep the level elements minimal and make it look good to play. The balancing of the levels undoubtedly was the most time consuming task, but i somehow managed to get done with the levels just in time. All levels were balanced.

Titanomachy

TITANOMACHY

Titanomachy means the War between the Olympians and the Titans. As i decided to go greek with the theme i decided to choose this as my boardgame's title. Titanomachy is a boardgame that follows the constraints of a German boardgame, which means strategy is involved and pretty much vital.

So ill just brief you through the game, the game revolves around the scenario of the race between the Olympians and the Titans for Mt.Olympus. Its a racing based strategy boardgame, the player plays as one of the gods can be from either side Olympian or Titan. Player picks his god, every god has their own special abilities. You race through the track eliminating other players. There are powers to be used using energy cards.

Players can play with 2 game modes, 1 v all or 3v3.

In a 3v3 clan battle, 3 players play in Olympians and 3 in Titans. Game objective remains the same, cross the finish line before the other team or eliminate the opposite team.

Below are a few cards that i worked on :-

Above are the character plank cards that every player holds. Powers of every character are mentioned with the energy and type required to use them in game.

And down below is the race track of the boardgame.

Along with the whole board game, during the printing i decided to give off an art book along with the board game. Not that i sold the game in real but just for fun. So a friend of mine gave me a hand with the character sketches of the gods.

And i guess thats about it. Its a fun game to play, not released in the market or anything. Just a project i did :)
